Mr Reid had bought his park home knowing it required some TLC. He wanted to work with a specialist park home company who could deal with all aspects of his renovation project to make it a straightforward process that could be project managed with little effort required from himself.
In the end Mr Reid decided he would move out of his park home for two weeks to allow the complete refurbishment to take place without incurring too much day to day upheaval.
Simon, one of our park home surveyors, visited Mr Reid to plan the design of the new kitchen and bathroom, and choose the colour for the External Wall Insulation. Simon managed the whole project from start to finished to ensure it ran smoothly.

The before and after photos really do speak for themselves. Previous to the refurbishment the park home was tired, there was flooring coming away representing a trip hazard, missing drawers and cupboard fronts in the kitchen and the bathroom was dated.
Now the kitchen functions in a way that suits Mr Reid’s lifestyle. It is easy to clean, functional and the white with sparkle effect makes it very modern. He had no requirement for an oven and so opted for a built in microwave and hob instead. Thankfully there is no longer bits of flooring missing and the new soft grey laminate floor is safe to walk on.
The bathroom makes life so much easier too, a walk in shower is nice and easy to use and Mr Reid opted for aqua board walls in a sparkle effect that set the room off, adding a touch of luxury.
Lastly, the external wall insulation has ensured that Mr Reid maintains heat for longer in his park home meaning he can turn down his thermostat, saving him money.
I can definitely feel that my park home is warmer and I am very happy with the finish of my bathroom and kitchen. It makes my home feel spacious and modern.
