The work

Mrs Clack was referred to us by a neighbour, Mrs Hall. She’d seen how Mrs Hall was benefitting from having Platinum Park Home Services insulation and wanted to modernise her park home and save money on her energy bills by having External Wall Insulation installed.

We completed the work over 3 days in total. Firstly, we installed the grey graphite polystyrene boards that nearly double the thickness of the park home (did you know that grey graphite boards are 21% more effective than white?).

Secondly we applied a layer of render, followed by a layer of fiberglass mesh and finally a top layer of render. This was left for several days to dry thoroughly. Finally, we applied a layer of primer to ensure that the lilac 10 year top coat finish adhered effectively. This beautiful bold colour choice is 008 – 3.

The result

The new colour is very striking and gives Mrs Clack just what she was after in terms of a new modern finish. Mrs Clack chose not to have the Roman pillars reapplied to keep the look modern and fresh. She also had the area next to the french doors chamfered to provide a neat finish. Finally new white vents were applied as well as window sills to ensure the rainwater runs away and doesn’t sit on the window ledge.
