Before
Mr Steven came across PPHS after seeing us completing a lot of work on other homes on the site. Originally, he wanted his chassis refurbished, and new Underfloor Insulation installed. As luck would have it, we were actually able to find funding for Mr Steven to have his insulation installed, which he was thrilled about! This saving allowed him to explore further upgrades on his home. As a result of successful completion of the underfloor work, Mr Steven commissioned us to completed work on his bathroom
The Customer Brief
The previous occupants had installed a poorly fitted wetroom, and this did not meet the requirements of Mr Steven. Therefore he asked us to supply and quotation for a new bathroom.
After consideration of our quotation, Mr Steven decided to accept it, and with delight we began the process of installing his bathroom.
The work PPHS carried out
Head of Kitchen and Bathroom installation; Anthony Nally visited Mr Steven and spent time working through his requirements, after all information was gathered he went away and produced a design that he was extremely happy with.
The design was focused on future proofing the bathroom and giving him the contemporary look he was after. Future Proofing rooms are extremely important to our customers, and even small details like installing a walk in shower meant that in the future when bending down or stepping into a bath may become an issue, customers can still use their showers as they are floor level, as opposed to bath tubs.
- We relaid the sub-flooring where water had ingressed, and laid a new, modern, sleek floor to suit the look of the new bathroom.
- We fitted a new low profile walk in shower tray, making the look for the new bathroom more aesthetically pleasing.
- The whole bathroom is now new, and is far more functional than the previously fitted bathroom, which was dated and lacked usability.
- We fitted Vinyl click flooring, which comes with a 20 year residential guarantee. This is a rubberised flooring, which can accept slight movement (Park Homes can contract and expand slightly). It is also waterproof, which is very important, as Park Home floors do attract moisture easily which can lead to further issues down the line.
